As the church grows, our focus is on trying to connect with people. Every person in the world is on a spiritual journey right now, and we want to place ourselves in a position where we can be good spiritual guides, and help them ask the right questions, and show them where to find good answers. This is the focus of all our new ministries as we try to become more helpful and influential in the community.

Youth Group + Drop-In Center
We have a traditional church Youth Group, which most of our church kids come to. This is a bunch of fun, and provides an opportunity for our chuch teens to invite friends to a church event, where they can enjoy themselves, and have good influences on their lives.
But we also have a drop-in center, which is open to any youth in the community who want to come and have fun with other youth in a safe place. We have gaming consols (Wii, Xbox 306, playstation etc), soccer, basketball, tv, table tennis, and computers with internet connection for the youth to use for free. We do this because we believe Coburg needs a place for families to send their kids where they are going to be safe, have a good time, and not be left to fend for themselves on the street. We also do this because we believe youth are looking for good role models, and need positive interaction with adults who can help them find the answers to questions they are asking.

Playgroup
Beck and Mel started playgroup in 2006, because they wanted to help the church start to focus out on the community. The first week – no one showed up! And the next week... and the week after that...
But after a while, they rejigged the advertising – and some mums started coming. Now the playgroup is one of the really important community focuses of our church. For a majority of the mums, this is the only contact they have with a church community, and we believe the playgroup is not only a great asset to the community of Coburg, but also a great avenue for the church to help guide people as they ask questions about their spiritual journey.

Kids Church
Kids need to have fun at church, right? As they do this, they also learn. While you are in church listening to the sermon, your kids will be well looked after, having fun, and learning cool Bible stuff. All our Kids church leaders have the proper police record and working with children checks for your peace of mind.

Creche'
We have a small crèche service available to young families. If your kids are not old enough for kids church, you can send them to crèche during the sermon where they will be looked after until you pick them up after the service. Also, we have a cry room, which overlooks the sanctuary. The cry room has a change table, couches, and the sound from the service piped in, so you won’t miss out on anything while you look after your child’s needs.

Small Groups
We have a number of small groups operating in the suburbs around the church. These are flexible, so you are never stuck in one small group if you need to change for any reason.
