If you have come to this page, you are probably looking for a fairly detailed explanation of our church’s theology. If you are familiar with church theology, our church would best be described as a pretty mainstream.

Jesus’ main teachings are pretty basic, and we hold to all of those… that he was the Son of God, that the Bible is God’s word, and that Jesus’ death and resurrection is the way God has provided to restore our relationship with him that was broken because of sin.

Most of theological debates are about really small details around the edges of what Jesus teaches. And the Bible warns against spending too much time in hollow debates. We find focussing on following Jesus teachings in our own lives and working together to spread the good news is a big challenge that gives us plenty to do! And as we do this together, most theological differences suddenly seem very small and insignificant!!
